Neverland was Michael's dream - to give the poor, sick and dying children, and their families, a place of respite away from the day-to-day drama of their illness or condition. To give them excitement and fun, to enjoy being a child - something he never had himself. Michael had a big heart and he loved children and would never hurt them. Re-opening Neverland would honour his memory and what he stood for, what was close to his own heart:Helping children and making the world a better place for them.
